Acceptable Use Policy

This policy sets out what you may not sell or do using BuilderBlack. It applies to every store, account and user, and forms part of our Terms of Service. BuilderBlack is operated by Liyaas Solutions Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 17017751.

1. Prohibited products and services

You may not use BuilderBlack to sell, offer or promote:

  • anything that is illegal where you sell it or where your customers are;
  • counterfeit or replica goods, or anything that infringes someone else's intellectual property;
  • weapons, ammunition, explosives, or parts and instructions for making them;
  • illegal drugs, controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, or prescription medicines without the required licences;
  • stolen goods, recalled or unsafe products, or products that break product safety rules;
  • adult content or services, or any sexual content involving minors;
  • gambling, lotteries or games of chance, unless properly licensed where you and your customers are;
  • financial, investment or cryptocurrency services that require authorisation you do not have, pyramid or multi-level marketing schemes, or "get rich quick" offers;
  • fake documents, academic dishonesty services, or fake reviews, followers or likes;
  • endangered species or products made from them; or
  • anything that promotes violence, terrorism, hatred or discrimination.

2. Prohibited behaviour

You may not:

  • mislead customers about your identity, your products, your prices, delivery times or their rights;
  • send marketing emails, SMS or WhatsApp messages to people who have not agreed to receive them, or fail to honour unsubscribe requests;
  • collect, buy or sell personal data without a lawful basis, or use customer data for anything other than what you told your customers;
  • host or spread malware, phishing pages or deceptive redirects;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the Services, other accounts or our systems, or probe or test them for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
  • overload or disrupt the Services, scrape them, or get around usage limits or security controls;
  • resell or sublicense access to the Services without our written permission; or
  • deal with people or countries that are subject to UK, EU, US or UN sanctions in breach of those sanctions.

3. Payment gateways and other services

The payment gateways, carriers and other services you connect have their own lists of restricted products and practices. You must follow them as well as this policy.

4. What we do about breaches

If we reasonably believe this policy has been broken, we may remove content, disable features, suspend or close the store or account, and report illegal activity to the relevant authorities. Where it is practical and lawful, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

5. Reporting abuse

To report a store or account that you believe breaks this policy, email support@builderblack.com with the store address and details of the problem.
